Hotel Vent d'Iroise

We had a very beautiful room with a wonderful ocean view. Only drawback: There was no power outlet on the left or right side of the double bed. Impractical if you want to charge your phone overnight and don't want to jump out of bed in the morning to turn off the alarm. That should be easy to fix. The woman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The parking spaces in front of the building did not seem to be used only by hotel guests.

We spent 2 nights in an Ouessant room; the description does not match the room we had. Very small room, difficult to move around the bed. Impossible to go to the toilet without tripping over the shelf that serves as a desk with its single chair. No armchair: just a simple chair. Mediocre cleanliness; the swallow droppings were not even removed from the window ledge all season (even though they have already migrated). Spiders present. Damp room, no working ventilation. French window stuck, impossible to open. Sea view: I would say view of Le Conquet. Nonexistent parking. This hotel does not deserve these 3 stars.

Mixed review. When we are told that the price of the room depends on the dates, we can expect a service that lives up to the rate. Unfortunately, several points disappointed us. First of all, no parking space available. We had to park in a field, for lack of a nearby solution. The bedding is also aging: we could feel the box spring, which is not really what one expects for a good night's sleep. Next, what is the point of the refrigerator in the room if there is no electricity when we are away? After a walk, we simply wanted to find a cold drink, but that was not possible. Finally, the room is advertised as "spacious," but we clearly do not all have the same criteria regarding this term... The only positive point remains the breakfast, with the merit of supporting local producers and businesses. In the end, a rather disappointing experience that did not really meet our expectations, especially considering the price asked.
