Campanile Nimes- Caissargues

After making a good-faith error when booking on Booking.com, we arrived at the hotel and asked to change the date (switching from the 6th to the 3rd, even though we had already paid for the 6th). We were told that Booking.com would handle the refund, while being checked in at a rate 30 euros higher than what we had paid barely an hour earlier! ​​​After contacting Booking.com, we learned that the hotel refused to refund our initial booking; yet, we were on-site, and it was simply a matter of changing the date! This is a blatant case of price gouging and a maneuver to avoid paying the commission to Booking.com! Booking.com requested that they refund us, but they simply refused; we had even booked breakfast! The hotel and its facilities leave much to be desired: extremely limited dinner options, disgusting food... The owner spoke openly about us and had the reception staff run back and forth while we were raising these issues, instead of introducing himself. The worst part is that we were told that Booking.com would organize our refund, even though they knew perfectly well that this would never happen without the hotel's agreement! I had requested a room on a lower floor because my wife is disabled; we were given a room accessible by a spiral staircase, with an extremely high bathtub that she could not use and no shower. A disgrace! I consider these practices dishonest; they should not be tolerated. After using Booking.com for 35 years, we will now avoid them, because they offer no recourse to their customers. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

An AI claimed it was a campanile nature. In fact, the otherwise typical hotel does not officially bear this designation. It is, however, secluded in the countryside near the village of Caissargues. Unfortunately, nature is disturbed by a four-lane expressway. It wasn't really loud, though. Very ancient were the punch cards that served as keys. I don't see the advantage of these cards. The rooms presented themselves in neat condition, air conditioning, heating element in the bathroom and doors worked. The breakfast corresponded to the chain. There was real fruit yogurt . Baked goods rather soft. Plus Fromage de Emmental and Chorizo. Just pizza in the evening. Parking lots.

Cold room , very noisy heating , handicapped room request we had a room with shower in a suck bath I recommend not at all Brief breakfast ...for a three star we expected better
