Chateau Meyre

Le Clos de Meyre is a lovely place for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the heart of the Médoc. We had chosen the family suite, which was particularly spacious, with its kitchenette and its very large private terrace offering a pleasant view of the countryside. This vast outdoor space is just as suitable for a moment of relaxation as it is for an aperitif or, why not, a cocktail if the establishment offers one. We enjoyed the dinner served in the room, consisting of a platter of cold cuts, cheeses, a tomato salad, accompanied by a bottle of Clos de Meyre, a pleasant wine that perfectly complements this moment. The welcome is warm and the setting is particularly restful. The only downside is the breakfast, which is perfectly fine, but could be a bit more generous and varied to be fully up to the standard of a four-star establishment. The discreet and efficient service made me forget, for the duration of the stay, a disastrous experience I had at the beginning of June in a five-star establishment. Le Clos de Meyre, an address that I gladly recommend.

Splendid Chateau, great rooms, climate controlled suite we had. Fantastique staff, great breakfast with high quality food and drinks. Pool and Gym are top. Walks in the garden or vineyard completed the stay. A must visit!

Fantastic slot experience. Beautiful straw, delicious breakfast, lovely garden, nice and large room, pool, gym. We'd like to be longer.
