Hotel Altica Merignac

I stayed here for 1 night before my flight from Bordeaux. The hotel was easy to find just off the motorway. I arrived around 3pm and check in was very easy on the automated screen. The room was clean and comfortable and was very quiet during the night and I slept very well. The girl on the desk in the evening was very nice and pleasant and it was an easy drive in the morning to the P4 car park. I will definitely stay here again.

During our stay we were confronted with two particularly regrettable facts: We booked the PMR room (my husband in wheelchair) for 3 nights but we were forced to leave after an unbearable night. Non-functional air conditioning, Despite the temperature 27° to 30°, no solution was proposed, and discomfort during the night was significant. 2. The unacceptable behaviour of the reception staff (he will admit himself Mr. Reception!) instead of showing listening or professionalism, allowed for mocking, moralizing and shocking remarks. When I explained that we had "we died hot last night the air conditioning does not work, he replied with provocation: "Oh good ma'am, with this you can die of hot?! You are not ashamed!? You don't know Gaza, do you?" With his mean and contemptuous look and he takes it from above and he doesn't try to find the solution. Nor call technician, only word "We can do nothing for you" Such a response is not only inappropriate, but shocking and disrespectful, both in substance and form. We have been deeply hurt by this condescending tone and unacceptable comparison. This type of attitude cannot be tolerated in a host institution and greatly tarnishes the image of your brand. That is why I ask not only for an official explanation, both because of the uninsured performance and the behaviour of the staff. Receptionist walked into our room without our permission while we were in the breakfast room, saying to turn on the air conditioning when it does not work at all!! (With water running due to breakdown) WE'LL NEVER BOOK HOTEL B&B AGAIN too bad an experience for us

Very disappointing, dirty and stained carpet, no desire to walk barefoot on this floor Why put carpet on when you can't clean it? Put a laminate ... Bathroom powerful smell of waste water that is present in the room Slow or blocked sink flow Noisy environment Very good breakfast Very average welcome
