I have never been in a hotel with so much humidity. A little more and you would find the little mermaid singing in your bed.
And if it were only the feeling of humidity, I wouldn't say anything. But the smell was overwhelming to the point of affecting my thoughts. We entered the room, and a strong smell of a 15th-century church hit us. Of course, the fact that the entire floor is carpeted did not help the situation at all.
This humidity festival, along with the fact that we were next to a courtyard with plants, was the perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes, who made sure to visit us every day and every night. Thus, instead of souvenirs, I took home seven bites as a keepsake.
In the room, there was a sort of gap/chimney in the stone wall that had never seen a dust cloth in its life. This was demonstrated by the cobwebs that hung from its easily crumbling walls. And the little spiders, who occasionally came by to say hello.
And since we never wiped the chimney, why bother wiping the rest of the furniture? No! Better to leave it set up to look like the house of a medieval apothecary.
We requested to change our room because this humidity and mosquito party was a real discomfort. After an Oscar-worthy performance in which the receptionist pretended to be bothered to check the reservation book, he told us that everything was full. In all the days we spent there, I did not see a single soul, only two guests and a couple. The latter gave us the opportunity to listen to their passionate night of love. What could be better for falling asleep than listening to others scream like seagulls in heat?
For these 5 delightful nights, they charged us almost 1000 euros. And the breakfast, with the four trivial items it had to offer, was 14 euros each day.
The only thing I can say in favor of this hotel is that in 5 minutes on foot, you are in the center. Other than that, I would not recommend it to anyone but my worst enemy (and to a family of mosquitoes who would like to visit Bordeaux, of course).

Great location in the center of Bordeaux. Plus, private parking for a few places, think about booking.
Comfortable rooms, without noise even the one overlooking the street. Good address

Our stay at this hotel offered some positive aspects, but also some critical issues, especially regarding Service. The location is definitely the strong point of the property: it is located a few steps from the historic center of the city, easily accessible on foot, which makes exploration very easy. The hotel also has a small garage for about three cars, a useful Service as long as you explicitly request it when booking.
Our room, located on the ground floor, was quite small in size and the window directly overlooked the street. Unfortunately, the most disappointing part of our stay was the management of the garage on the day of departure. We asked if we could leave our bike for a few more hours, from 12:00 to 15:00. A guy at the reception, after checking the reservations, had given us his approval.
However, at around 2pm, we were called back by a staff girl who, abruptly and unfriendly, warned us to move the bike immediately, claiming that our extra stay was creating problems and that the garage was only available until 12pm. Despite trying to explain the situation, we returned to the hotel as early as possible, at 14:35. Upon our arrival, the tone was initially even harsher, with the denial of the concession that had been made to us. When we insisted, the blame was shifted to the "new and inexperienced" colleague. To us, however, it seemed that the problem was not his inexperience, but the lack of internal communication of the staff. To conclude, we were asked for an extra €10 for the inconvenience that, apparently, their own concession (withdrawn shortly after) had generated.
Finally, the breakfast, although included, turned out to be little varied and of mediocre quality, an aspect that in our opinion could be improved.
