Very disappointed! We have been regular customers at maéva since 2002 and this in several regions of France, but this year it exceeds the limits: in Maubuisson, no more welcome either on arrival or Check-out, the apartment was not clean, sheep under the bed, under the bedside furniture, in the kitchen, a wall shelf near the microwave had been pulled out and the platter dust was still down, no tiles on our bed, there was one in the broom cupboard crumpled in a basin, obviously we did not put it (clean or not?) and so go claim one from the reception, there is no one, the cupboards do not close and that is funny, the magnets are not in the right places, you have to be completely dumb to do this job. In the bathroom it lacks a tile under the bathtub, the terrace is full of cobwebs, so I specified on the inventory that I made the apartment in the same condition that is dirty except the places we used. We used to make the place cleaner than when we arrived, but not there. The local washing machine is cluttered with old clothes that are not only there since yesterday, state of mind-blowing filth! What to say about the 3 or 4 bins for sorting: they literally overflow and yet there is no crowd for rent, how many weeks they have not been out. It's like everything else. I have all the pictures, I don't post them online, there are way too many. What a decay! And to think I paid extra for this top floor apartment. We will not go again, it was the third time, too bad the place is nice. Staff savings have reached their limits. I do not congratulate you. Very disappointed! Great area for the family, very enjoyable with lots to do. The lake is 1.5km away with some restaurants, beach and some shops. Carcans plage is the nearest seaside beach and is 3km away. Lots of cycle paths and walking around but is a quiet location. Lacanau-ocean is 10km away and the nearest supermarket is 10km in Carcans. There are not many facilities for children nearby or adults (lots of surfing and swimming) but it was a wonderfully tranquil holiday.

Simple apartment complex with swimming pool. Quiet but easy walk to shopping centre and lake. Easy access to cycling paths and about 5km from the ocean - bring your bikes or rent for the week and never touch your car whilst you're here.
