Small hotel very friendly and comfortable in the center of the village under the protection of Saint Pierre who rings us the bells in the early morning (but we love).

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Very clean, comfortable, and with nice water pressure. We didn't speak French, but the owner was very accommodating and via a mix of miming and inference we were able to communicate everything needed. One important thing to note: the hotel is right next to a church whose bell rings about 30 times at 7am, and then half-hourly and hourly after that (they cease at 10pm at night). So be aware that if you intend to sleep in, you'll need heavy-duty earplugs!

Beignon is a lovely small town on the outskirts of a great forest to walk in. This is also the home of one of the French military academies. But what really made our visit fun were the hosts—this couple has such a fun personality and make you feel at home! She recommended a super restaurant (Les Forges de Paimpont) and got us reservations-don’t know how because it was booked solid! A very good breakfast at the hotel the next morning. Really enjoyed this hotel!
