Horrible stay, avoid if you book a cottage. Dirty accommodation, dirty refrigerator, disgusting walls covered in stains, dirty kitchenette with greasy electric plates, sink with rust, inside the cabinets more than dirty, and worst of all, sheets filled with hair, impossible to sleep in the bottom bed. We reported this issue to the reception, the cleaning was done the next day, but the entire accommodation remains dilapidated, bordering on unsanitary conditions. An email was sent to the hotel management, which responded in a very disdainful manner; the price we paid reflects the service... everything is focused on the clientele of the four-star hotel, and the rest is of no interest to the management. I was not asking for a four-star service but for decent accommodation (some photos to support this). Very disappointed with this haughty and dismissive response. Above all, do not book a cottage; you will be regarded as "low-end" clientele and therefore of no interest. Mr. Director of this hotel, please visit the cottages and update your photos on the booking site. I do not recommend and will certainly not return, even to the four-star hotel now that I have witnessed the mindset and disdain of the director.

I am here putting a review for the Lancelot 3* hotel. I was never informed that I needed to pick up the key of my hotel bedroom at the 4* sister hotel… do I trust this is wrong process and not welcoming. The 3* building is isolated, without staff, and very cold, not only in atmosphere but also in temperature. (Was in winter time) . The bedroom was clean but the heating process took a while…. I won’t go back to the 3* hotel.. I guess only the 4* might be worth it… but, a hotel is a hotel.. when a guest is paying, they are entitled for a good service. I guess, the 3* people are ignored … if you guys can’t take care of that building, just close it down and focus on only the 4* one. Now, the restaurant. I actually enjoyed the food!!! Not only dinner but breakfast. Dinner quality and taste was very good (best potimaron soup I ever had, I have to say, very tender veal too…) This is certainly the only positive point I d like to develop here. Well done on that

Very good stay at the Lancelot Hotel and Spa in Ploërmel. The room is nice, comfortable and the bathroom is modern. The restaurant meal was a good time to share with the family. Breakfasts are excellent and snacking is a very good idea instead of the restaurant for evenings when we are not too hungry. The SPA is a plus, simple and efficient (can't wait to see the new one currently under construction). The environment is superb with views of the golf course and Lake au duc. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
