Best Western Corsica Hotel Bastia Centre

Modern hotel where it is pleasant to stay, located a 20-minute walk from Place Saint Nicolas. Spacious room (222) with a large bed, very good bedding, a small sofa, and a small table with 2 chairs in a very bright alcove, and a nice bathroom. Very good soundproofing despite a very busy road. Top-notch equipment, including air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a small fridge, and a safe, make for a pleasant stay. Small negative points: lack of storage, which means leaving a large part of one's belongings in the suitcases, and only one hook in the bathroom. Top-notch service, with a special mention to Maja, Nuné, and Rarès, who were attentive, always smiling, and took great care of us throughout our week. It was a real pleasure to interact with them. The breakfast buffet is hearty and very complete for all tastes. Parking available (€8.00 per night), which avoids having to look for a place to park. Be sure to book in advance. It is surprising that this establishment is only rated 3 stars. The Courtepaille restaurant is not up to the standard of this establishment, but it is a good backup. In conclusion, we highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel located in a quiet neighborhood 25 minutes' walk from the old port. Small underground parking (must be reserved). Large, renovated, and well-equipped room and bathroom. But this comfort is spoiled by poor bedding. Welcoming and very pleasant staff. Hearty breakfast with good products.

Some hotels offer a bed; this Best Western offers a home. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the entire team cannot be surpassed in warmth. You feel like you have arrived from the very first second and are among friends. Honestly: Best Western should pay this staff a special bonus! Thank you very much for the feeling of home while traveling – we will definitely be back. Best regards, Zoran
