Relais du Silence Le Roi Theodore

We first had lunch at this hotel and then we purchased access to the spa. Lunch wasn't bad, even though the avocado toast had burnt bread and of the two pizzas ordered, one had the bottom completely burnt. But the main problem wasn't lunch, but rather the spa. 45 euros for a small, unheated indoor pool with a broken hot tub; it was cold in the sauna, and we had to ask them to turn up the temperature. Besides the small indoor pool and the sauna, there are two very normal unheated outdoor pools, so I find it bold to call it a Spa. When we realized that the facility was disappointing, we asked the reception if we could only do one hour (a hypothesis offered among the various proposals), but the girl who manages the Spa denied us this possibility. To me, this seems like madness, but above all, it demonstrates a total inability to manage the customer. If I am telling you that we don't like the place and we are disappointed, why "force" us to stay instead of just refunding a portion of the entrance fee? What harm would we have caused? Is it better to leave two customers unhappy to earn 50 euros more? I really don't understand these things; sometimes it takes so little to not send a customer away disappointed. If I owned a facility, I would want people to be happy to visit it; otherwise, I would be ready to accommodate them. In any case, the "shady" attitude of the receptionist was clear from the beginning, since she wanted to make us pay the 90 euros for the "Spa" even before we had lunch, as if she were in a hurry to take the money before we changed our minds. Hotel not recommended, both for the terrible quality of the "spa" and for the staff incapable of managing a understandably unhappy customer.

An excellent stay at the Hôtel Théodore! The establishment is elegant, clean, and very pleasant. A huge thank you to Samira for her availability and her valuable advice. She knew how to guide us very accurately and recommend excellent places, which largely contributed to the success of our stay. Thanks also to Alessia for her warm welcome upon our arrival. The whole team is attentive and makes sure that you feel at home. We will return with great pleasure and recommend this hotel with our eyes closed!

Very pleasant Thursday Candlelight evening at the Roi Théodore. The musician alternated between the violin while moving around the tables and the piano, simply magical! A very good time and a delicious meal!
