Decent hotel but damp! Water leaks in the restaurant... a bucket where it drips drop by drop next to your table... Same thing in the indoor pool area... As for the restaurant: avoid it! No staff, and the few who are there don't speak French; worse: they ask you to speak in English!!! The chef doesn't know the basics of French cooking: a duck breast pre-cooked in the oven before customers order, so regardless of the requested doneness (rare, medium-rare), your duck breast will be very well done... What can I say about breakfast other than that it's worse. No staff at the front desk or to restock the buffet. There are no more scrambled eggs at 9 a.m. ... and the DGCCRF should take a look at this restaurant where the yogurts are lukewarm, the cold cuts and cheese have no refrigerated area... the bowls arrive dirty from the kitchen... in short, we just hope not to get sick after all that!... What a shame! Charging €17 for that... Goodbye!

We had booked 1 room and 1 studio. The first looked out the back onto the Gave de Cauterets (with the sound of the torrent in the background, which I found pleasant), the second onto the street. It is important to specify which side you want to be on because, in the absence of air conditioning, you might sleep with the windows open in the summer. The accommodations turned out to be comfortable. Bathtub for the studio bathroom, shower for the room's bathroom. We ate very well at the restaurant. However, we did not have breakfast on-site. Too expensive (€17). We really liked the atmosphere at the bar. The spa area is not large. The outdoor pool and the jacuzzi were closed. However, we appreciated being able to go into the water after our days of hiking to relax. The staff is very friendly. I would like to mention a young Argentine employee (whose first name I unfortunately do not know) who cleans the rooms and whom we found truly adorable.

The hotel is good but the front desk is zero: I arrived at 2:30 PM even though the rooms are only available starting at 4:00 PM. I had to wait until 4:00 PM when a request to the cleaning service could and should have ensured that this particular room was prioritized over the others. This has already happened elsewhere and it is generally resolved like this.
