Where to begin ...
Bad area, dirty room, stink of trash near the elevator, broken equipment in the room, noisy, stink of other guests cooking. Very poor wifi requires sign in every time the phone screen goes black, wifi also slow. Very little cleaning of room, towels only once a week. You are required to clean the room before departure and it gets inspected by the front desk staff before you can check out!!! Front desk not 24 hours but plenty of staff during the day, I counted 5. Payment demanded one day before departure and then no receipt given. Truly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is more like a student backpackers. Avoid if you can.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Toulouse. It’s in a really good location, close to Place Dupuy, with good metro and bus links to the rest of town, not to mention a nice view over the Canal du Midi. There are numerous supermarkets, cafes & restaurants in the vicinity.
Our room was small, but well-equipped, with a comfortable fold down bed. The communal air-conditioning was very effective during the heatwave taking place during our stay.
The wi-fi was good, but the requirement to login afresh every time we returned to the room grew irritating and is out of step with normal standards.
Despite our waiting until 3pm to check-in, the cleaners had not finished the room when we arrived with our keys. While the room has a kitchenette (ie. there are expectations of self-catering), no washing-up liquid is supplied (there was a sponge and draining rack).
On enquiring, I was told that guests have to supply this themselves! This is ludicrous for a property marketing itself as an 'Appart Hotel'. No one on holiday carries washing-up liquid.
Additionally, this was the only accommodation throughout our four weeks travelling in France that insisted on taking a copy of my passport at check-in – everywhere else was fine with my driver’s licence, so a slightly odd policy, rigidly applied.

I was surprised by the size, quality and amenities of this budget apartment hotel. Rooms have basic kitchen facilities, a door onto as small, quiet balcony, and cater for longer stays. During my four days, I walked to all the sites in this gorgeous town. And the room was quiet; not always a feature of budget place. Wonderful. Thanks
