Citadines Wilson Toulouse

An experience that clearly makes you want to never come back! I arrived around 8:45 PM, apologizing and simply asking for help because the gate to the parking lot I rent through Zenpark was not working. The night receptionist could have simply explained the situation to me calmly. Instead, he raised his voice and spoke to me in an extremely disrespectful manner; he verbally assaulted me. I want to clarify that I came calmly and was simply asking for a little help to access the parking lot. Having a technical problem can happen. Being spoken to in that manner when you politely ask for help, much less so. Given the severity of the remarks made and the way I was treated, I intend to file a police report to leave an official record of this incident. I find this behavior unacceptable for someone working at a hotel front desk. Respect and professionalism should be the foundation. If this is the welcome this hotel offers its guests, I would much rather go elsewhere. Avoid at all costs!!

Very central hotel; you do not need to take public transportation to visit the city. Very clean room, comfortable beds, with a separate shower and toilet, air conditioning, a small kitchen with everything necessary if you want to prepare something, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, TV, iron, hangers, quality hand soap, shampoo, and large containers of gel. Cozy lounge in the lobby with a TV where you can have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh water, etc. whenever you like. You have the option to have breakfast if you want at the hotel. Very cozy inner courtyard with large tables and benches where you can picnic, smoke, or chat with your friends. Restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, supermarket (a wide variety of prepared dishes, sandwiches, and salads). Everything on the same street as the hotel. Victor Hugo Market just across the street with the possibility of dining in a restaurant on the first floor. If you take excursions from Toulouse with Civitatis, the bus can be caught very close, about 100 meters away. You can leave your luggage at the reception without any problem. The hotel staff is very friendly. If I return to Toulouse, I would stay here again because of the cleanliness of the hotel and its proximity to all services.

I wasn't sure what to expect as Toulouse is a big, bustling, crowded city but as it turned out I was pleasantly surprised. Reception (Euan and other staff) were on the ball and very welcoming A good start! Our room had excellent AirCon..an absolute must I Toulouse which is so hot..day after day..even in September. The room was large, comfortable, fridge included and comfortable bed. Guests had access to fresh towels and bedding from Laundrey Room as needed. It was also a quiet room. The breakfasts were basic and adequate. We did like the large garden area out the back which was a tranquile oasis in the midst of a bustling city. We often sat in the garden where we would drink the free self- serve coffee which is available 24/7 Our only concern was that a large overseas work party were at the hotel during our stay It was a minor concern but each morning they seemed to be everywhere in the breakfast room and we were left with few seats. As it turned out, we went to breakfast at a later time so as to avoid the large crowd So not sure if large work project teams use the Citadines as a base. I will ask next time I'm here Yes, I would return and thoroughly recommend this hotel.
