Le Capitole

Hotel booked online, fair price, spacious and clean room, what more could you ask for.

Admirably well-located small hotel. Very welcoming staff and a very decent breakfast. The rooms are pleasant. The only downside, the bathrooms could use a major maintenance overhaul just like the hallways... But in terms of value for money, it was absolutely perfect...

Bathroom WITHOUT A DOOR but with a transparent (stained) curtain, consequently without privacy, subject to traffic, and not soundproofed or odor-proofed. Mold and dust accumulated everywhere: on the curtains, on the headboards of the bed, on the bathroom curtain, on the bathroom ceiling, in the tile grout. Air conditioner never cleaned, full of mold and dust. Peeling and damaged walls and tiles. Daily cleaning not performed (only the beds were made and the towels were folded). I would add the decoder placed precariously on the television right at the head of whoever is sleeping in the third bed. Upon our request for a room change, we were told that all triple rooms had bathrooms without doors. Upon our request to be split into two rooms to have the necessary privacy, we were asked to pay for the second room. The only offer from management was to refund the next two nights. Offer not accepted because we did not find alternative solutions in the same price range since the facilities were full due to a major event in the city.
