Les Pins Galants

Having stayed many times in this establishment, we were surprised to find a Residence that is no longer the one we knew. Poorly maintained green spaces, (plastic bottles, yoghurt jars, papers hang out everywhere). the unspeakable pool, the cleanliness of the limiting room, uncomfortable bedding to replace, breakfast served at the hotel reception. There's no restaurant. Many unsupervised children in the parking lot even at the end of the day (let it not be said that it is a holiday period and that families are there to visit the area) , with scooters that prevent access to the rooms, linen spread everywhere. It looks like the captain abandoned ship. The staff at the front desk, very friendly do their best. The stars are not deserved.

We had stayed at this property several times, most recently in September 2022, and were very satisfied. This year, everything has changed: the common areas are not maintained and dirty, the swimming pool is closed and covered with a tarpaulin with greenish water, the restaurant is closed, breakfast is served in the reception room. The hotel management has “opted” to favor long-term rentals and residents are emergency shelters (immigrants, women with children to protect...) In this situation, it is no longer appropriate to welcome tourists or business travelers by posting 3 stars that are absolutely no longer deserved. Even if the rooms still stay clean. Conclusion, place to flee.

We booked this hotel for our first vacation in Toulouse without consulting Tripadvisor. Damage. Indeed, this hotel has certainly been a recommendable address for years, but today we must be disillusioned. The hotel is partially occupied by women to protect from their violent husbands, migrants and refugees. Sad reality of our world today, this cohabitation does not contribute to creating a vacation atmosphere. The maintenance leaves something to be desired, the restaurant is closed and breakfast is eaten in a cramped room in front of the reception. When butter or bread is missing, you go without it. There is no reserve. The equipment of the apartment is OK, but if you want a maid to come every day, as usual in a 3-star hotel, you have to ask. Let us nevertheless note the kindness of the employees and note that the large parking lot closed at night is appreciable. The geographical location of Tournefeuille is perfect for visiting Toulouse and the entire surrounding region.
