Lovely hotel very close to Basso Cambo metro station. Very friendly staffs. I had dinner in the restaurant downstairs two nights and for the amount of food available, the price is very reasonable. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toulouse, this is not even that far from the city center.

We booked this hotel after an internet search; my husband contacted them by telephone and were assured that all of their rooms were non-smoking. When we checked in, we noticed that the place still smelled like cigarette smoke, and our room smelled very strongly. Because this was unacceptable to us, we found another hotel immediately. (We also noticed that the Wi-Fi service in the room was quite slow.) Since we did not stay in this hotel, we cannot comment on any other aspect, but if the smoking issue is important to you, then give this one a miss.

It cannot be denied that the MetrHotel provides a basic service; however, when coupled with the hard work and hospitality of the owners, it becomes quite an excellent place to stay. It is close to the metro station and is far better than any similarly priced hotel in Toulouse. The restaurant is buzzing at lunch time, indicating that the local office folks recognise the value of this place. The rooms are basic, but clean and relatively quiet. In conclusion, this is ideal if you have business on the co-located business park.
