Adonis Annecy - Icone Hotel

Establishment very well located near Old Annecy. Very good welcome upon arrival and departure. The room is acceptable at first glance but looking closer, no electrical outlets near the bed, they are all concentrated on the wall facing the bed (not very practical..), the bathroom shows traces of mold (shower seal, dirty shower tray, stain on towels, shower tray drain almost clogged..). It would deserve a little renovation.. The breakfast is basic but acceptable. The price of the overnight stay justifies the location but not the services.

Well-located hotel and nice staff, but room 7 is to be avoided! 4 m2, impossible for 2 people to move around in the room, and don't even get me started on the bathroom….. the room overlooks a terrace where the AC units are placed, a mound of cigarette butts and spider webs, just disgusting….. $293 for 2 nights! I wouldn't have been able to stand it any longer! Admittedly, you don't go to Annecy for a room, but it's too expensive for what it is.

Booked for a three night stay. Lovely location, everything is in walking distance. Dark haired female staff at the desk was lovely and very polite. There is no elevator within, only stairs for anyone bringing a case. After entering our room we noticed multiple damages which had not been repaired (photos attached) cracks behind the sockets, no toilet flush cover, broken shower head holder, broken bathroom door handle and ripped bed throws. The room was not clean, extremely dusty and stains on the pillowcases. The rooms are small and require a good freshen up. There is also no fridge within the room. It is advertised there is a cupboard/ wardrobe, the cupboard is extremely dirty. There is also no lock on the bathroom door. When I spoke to staff regarding the damages in the room, the tall, slim dark haired gentleman at reception was extremely rude and uninterested. He told me there was nothing that could be done and the toilet flush cover had been ordered next day delivery. When I asked the following day I was informed it will not be delivered until the weekend (after our checkout date) we were offered a smaller room with single beds and when I queried if I would be refunded for the change in room, and unhygienic damages he stated he would speak to the manager but later informed me it is not possible. Overall very disappointed with the room it is absolutely not worth the money. I would not recommend and would not return to this hotel.
