Hilton Evianlesbains

Very disappointed with our stay. The hotel clearly suffers from a lack of general maintenance. We had booked a suite with a view of Lake Geneva, but once we arrived, the view of the lake was only partial. The cleanliness also leaves much to be desired: dirty carpet, mold on the shower ceiling, and even inside the refrigerator. For the price asked, it is disappointing. The establishment is far too expensive for the quality offered. We expressed our dissatisfaction at the reception, where we were told they understood our disappointment, but they found no other solution than to offer us a cocktail as compensation. We do not recommend this hotel and will not return to this establishment or any other Hilton hotel.

I just spent two nights at the Hilton in Évian-les-Bains and, unfortunately, my experience regarding the dining and bar was very disappointing. From the first evening, we ordered Aperol Spritz that were served to us in small glasses, with very little alcohol and an excessive amount of sparkling water, all for €14 per glass. At that price, one would expect at least some snacks (olives, peanuts, or other appetizers), but nothing was offered. The next day, at the same establishment but at the outdoor bar, we ordered the same cocktails and found that the price had increased to €15 per glass. Being part of a group, I felt that participants were systematically charged €1 more for drinks, which seems particularly regrettable for a hotel of this category. As for the dining, the quality of the buffets and their replenishment were far below the standards one is entitled to expect from a Hilton establishment. The staff are unable to clear the tables or set them up. In summary, the rooms are comfortable and represent the main positive aspect of the hotel. On the other hand, the bar service and dining are, in my experience, well below the expected level for a Hilton. A real disappointment in these aspects.

We made an overnight stop at this hotel on our way to Italy from Belgium. The hotel was easy to find with a parking garage just under the hotel (although separate from the hotel). We had booked a junior suite with a lake view. The room was quite large and a nice view from the balcony. The hotel was fully booked and quite busy. We had arrived early for breakfast and since was a beautiful morning we were able to take breakfast outside, very nice.
