Stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Limoges. I chose this hotel as bizarrely I had worked here for 1 week on work experience (from the UK) 24 years ago. It was great to return from a memory lane point of view. Not a lot had changed (other than ownership). The outside had been changed, however, the inside and bedrooms looked more or less the same. Could definitely do with a bit of TLC. The rooms represented good value for money, and would stay here again. We did put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, but yet the cleaners still went into the room, made the bed etc, and closed the window (which we had deliberately left open as it was so hot in the room). Was clean(ish) but could do with some love throughout the hotel. Nice to return anyway - value for money too.

We liked the website - and wanted somewhere to stay where we could get a meal. We booked only the day before and we wanted a room with a bath. When we arrived we were so disappointed to find we were on a roundabout in the middle of an industrial estate. We were too responsible to drive on to the Ibis where we should have stayed. We were given a very small grim room on the first floor. First floor, but only a view of a fire escape and rubbish bins. There was a kettle but no cups, coffee etc. The bathroom was good. We ate in the restaurant and this was good with v good service from the owner and not so good from his assistant who would not let us change our order less than a minute afterwards ! (We had not seen the special on the back of the menu). This made our meal expensive. When we left after breakfast we felt we were escaping !! Reminiscent of 80s one star hotels in France. It was cheap at 58 euros but would have been worth another
