Hotel Mont Thabor

An absolute gem of a hotel. Super cozy, with everything you need for a great Skiing trip. Great breakfast. Easy walk to the Avaret gondola to start the day. Close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and return. The only negative I have is that the bar shuts too early in the evening. It would be nice to have a few drinks after an evening meal. We were half board and I was worried about it being a set menu, but the food was amazing and if, one night it’s something you don’t like, if you let the restaurant know the day before, they will do something else for you. Fab little restaurant with great service.

Good hotel (chosen by our insurer) where we stayed one night following an accident in the area. Room 401 (mountain side) quiet with all the necessary appreciable of a 3 star: mini bar, kettle for herbal teas in the evening, wifi (a little soft), bathtub and hygiene products available... Bedding rather good and very clean room. Breakfast in the morning is varied and of good quality. Pleasant Welcoming. Decor rooms a little old but it is not the essential to sleep well! Very good address by the road.

Excellent for a 3*. Breakfast was well catered and evening meals for half board at restaurant L’equilibre were excellent (3 course set menu each evening just a short stroll away). I Was travelling solo and fortunate to have another 2 solo travellers staying here too. Reception staff were lovely, really engaging and chatty. - a real credit. Nightlife/Apres not as good as other places, but a great place to stay in Serre Chevalier. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again
