L'Ecrin des Neiges

Everything was good from the beginning. Our compliments goes to the lady at the reception desk (the lady with the little dog) - she was so nice and friendly. The appartments were also good, they were clean and warm. The location of the residence is also good. We will definetly come here again.

We recently stayed at this residence for a 1 week long ski vacation and being used to appartments in skiing areas in France, were shocked by the quality of our appartment. The balcony door glass was broken and covered with a cardboard - not only taking up most of the view but also freezing cold air blowing constantly from the outside (outside being -15 Celsius). In addition 2 of the 5 heaters in the appartment were non functional, so some rooms remained pretty cold. The light bulb in the refrigerator was missing. When we complained to the receptionist, she just shrugged and said there is nothing she can do - she did give us some more brown tape, to cover up the holes better. As if this was not enough, one of the two bathromms had such a terrible canal smell, that we had to lock the door and barricade it, and still had the stinking air emanating from under the door. We will definitely not return to this place ever.

Super Accommodation booked via Ski Horizon - £240 for a 6 berth flat. They were brand new and very well equipped.
