We stayed at Griyotire during our trip to the Alps. The location in the middle of the village is excellent. Restaurants are right next door and the grocery store is just a short walk away. Checking in was fast and smooth. Our room was on the second floor. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and the bed and pillows were decent. The room was quite warm and a bit stuffy which seems typical for the local ventilation style but the balcony with its great views made up for it. The absolute highlight of the stay was the breakfast. It was abundant comprehensive and full of delicious flavors. The village entertainment was also a great bonus since the main street was closed to traffic and a live band was playing. As a tip for fellow travelers we highly recommend Epicure. It might show up on Google as a deli or gourmet shop but it is also a wonderfully uncomplicated and pleasant restaurant.

We stayed overnight; there is a small, very comfortable, very cozy, very spacious room. Next to it, there is a sofa that turns into a bed, which is very comfortable, a very comfortable sofa bed mattress, very beautiful decor, plenty of storage, a small thoughtful touch of coffee, tea, and a small cookie. The room is very, very clean. We were welcomed very well. I had a very good weekend. The pool is very pleasant and warm, the sauna too. Everything is really very clean and impeccable. I recommend it to you; it is really very pleasant.

The ladies on the front desk are always very friendly and welcoming from the moment that you arrive. We have stayed at this hotel a few times now and have always enjoyed our stay. It is very convenient for local ski slopes and also ones that a little further away. Les Saisies is only 20-30 mins drive for excellent snow. There are numerous restaurants nearby, Les Sapins for local well cooked food, Pizza Mountain for take-away, and also a good pizza restaurant at the other end of the village. Megeve is only a short drive. There is a Sherpa convenience store literally on the doorstop for anything that you may may have forgotten. A really nice swimming pool.. and sauna. We really enjoy staying at this hotel. Thankyou Ladies.
