Les Ecrins De Soulane

What a lovely lovely place. Met by Patrick who was splendidly accommodating. He liaised by text before our arrival and was stood by the front door waiting to let us in. This was after offering to let us he knob early (10am) and also offering to let us leave later as we had an evening flight home. The apartment is spacious, clean, very well equipped and better than our house!! Nespresso machine, electric orange squeezer, washer/deer - just everything we could wish for. We were delighted. Even had a smart sauna outside on the balcony!!

Not 5 stars, maybe 4, because of location and hot tub/sauna? Got the sheets changed after the first night of not sleeping because the original sheets were like sandpaper. Hot tub was super tricky to use (sometimes WAY too hot and other times cold), there was only a few english channels when we arrived- after we complained they went out a got a Apple TV. We had to remind them of normal maintenance (like putting chemicals in the hottub and providing locks for the front door). It was VERY loud, you can hear everything outside (people talking normally) and walking/moving chairs in the other apartments. We were there for 2 weeks with a baby and dog, and I couldn't wait to leave. It is not cozy or comfortable, barely pictures on the walls. The good points: location is good if you want to be close to the action (although not close to any lifts), they have a shuttle to the lifts, and the kitchen was decently stocked. But honestly, if you want location and 5 stars, stay at a nice hotel its around the same price!

The location is right in the middle of Cham. We can walk to cable to mt. Blanc and train station to the gracier. Amazing place. Well-equipped kitchen. Perfect view at balcony. We cook and have dinner at balcony every night (2nights) Definitely will be back.
