Excellent value in a sea of expense that is Val D’Isere! Lovely welcome after a 14 hour journey . Clean comfortable rooms with a small kitchen breakfast area, hot clean showers and beautiful views over the mountains and lake . Good value breakfast with everything you could want . The team are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble .. with the free shuttle to le daille to catch the bus to town very useful. Good old fashioned service .. we’ll be back !

Stayed here whilst cycling the Alpine Raid (Thonon les Bains to Nice) in June. We arrived soaking wet in a violent thunderstorm but by the morning all our kit had been washed and dried out. We enjoyed an excellent, wholesome evening meal and a good breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to borrow the use of a laptop to enable us to download a modified gpx file of the route for the following day. Our bikes were kept secure overnight in a locked garage. The rooms were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water for showers.

We stayed for 5 nights to ski in val d'isere. While we came to hotel the room was quite cold, but they send us portable heater that works efficiently. The hotel is located near the dam appx 3 km to city center(you can use the owners own home parking area in the center). If you dont have car, there was a shuttle working whole day you can also use it. Thank you for your hosting
