Logis Hôtel les Peupliers

The owners are welcoming and pleasant. When booking a 10-square-meter room, I had forgotten to deduct the bathroom, included in the surface area, and the hallway that leads to it. In short, I did not find myself in a room, but in a kennel. The closet door is blocked by the bed and the "desk," which must be 50 cm by 25 cm, is so cluttered (kettle, information sheets, fan, ...) that you cannot put anything on it. It was clean. The room, however, overlooks the restaurant terrace and it is quite noisy until late at night (it was July 14th, I haven't tested it on another day). I bumped into the "nightstand" twice, a simple 20 x 20 cm stool. In short, I paid for a bed and I got it. The breakfast buffet was good, with freshly squeezed oranges and delicious local products. It was certainly the day after July 14th, but the baker did not come by and therefore there was no baguette or other bread. With cheese, it is better. To be repeated, however, but perhaps in a larger room. The closed garage for parking the motorcycle was appreciated. Finally, the restaurant, which is exceptional, is the subject of a separate review.

We were fortunate to spend 10 days again in this establishment, and as usual, it was a great pleasure, but this year even more so, thanks to the waitresses Estelle, Sofia, Isabelle, and also Angelique, who also handles the secretariat, all four always smiling and very professional, an extra ray of sunshine. The welcome is always impeccable; we always book, whenever possible, a superior room to benefit from a balcony. The room is spacious and clean, the bedding impeccable. The pool is very pleasant. We were on half board, and the meals were excellent and varied. Kudos to the chef and his team. We can also talk about breakfast, but I think there should be a special section for it; overall, everything is great and everything is super good, both savory and sweet, with many regional products. As a reminder, the hotel has free parking, with charging stations for electric vehicles. The region is still as beautiful as ever; we never get tired of it. Thanks again to all the staff at Hotel Les Peupliers, especially to Françoise and Jacques who manage this establishment in the best possible way; thank you for their competence and kindness.

The POPLARS in Baratier (05). 1st passage, a Saturday. Everything is homemade from fresh products and in a very large majority local or departmental. Beautiful original plates very well served. Weekday menu at $25. 2 appetizers, 2 main courses & 2 desserts. Very beautiful plates with very good fresh products. Unbeatable quality/price! And always a very good service.
