Residence Maeva Les Grangettes

Only just the reviews now I am back home. Yes the hotel is basic and needs an upgrade, however the kitchen has two electric rings lots of pots and pans, a dishwasher, welcome pack with DW tablets, washing up liquid. No kettle however you can boil water. Had a room on the 6th floor. Amazing views, could see 3 ski lifts from our balcany. Right next door to Les Gringettes ski lift. Small bar and supermarket, fantastic bakers, do try the quiche and baguettes. Try the Tania and 1650 for other bars. The Bubble and the Funky Fox. Also L’elephant does fantastic food. Take the ski lifts to Méribel for a great day out. Buses are free and snug. Run to a tight timetable, which you can get from the tourist board

Our expectations were not high having read reviews so we were delighted by the location and accommodation. We had a space in the underground car park which we tried to pre-book but no one replied. The room was clean and kitted out extremely well. The view was ok, would have been better if we’d been higher up (floor 4). Courchevel Village has everything you need including a fantastic pizzeria (la Cortona) and les Grangettes is VERY close to the lifts and slopes. Also lovely bar close by.

Residence in cheaper Courch1550 in a very good location, close to skilift and slope. A couple of nice restaurants nearby. No English speaking tv and no WIFI in the appartment. The residence needs a general upgrade.
