Residence Pierre et Vacances Electra

We arrived at this hotel and were welcomed by one of the reception staff who was very polite. He gave us our keys and we made our way to the bedroom. A bit slow as only one of the two lifts was working. Very excited to be there we opened our bedroom door to be hit with an extremely bad smell . It was that bad we immediately opened the front and rear doors letting air in through the apartment. I can’t explain the smell but it seemed like a mixture of sick, beer, cigarettes and sour milk . It was disguising.on looking around the apartment it seemed quite well equipped but it was in poor condition . Sharp cracks on the cooker hob. Dirty carpets and to our disbelief a dangerous cracked / shattered tiled floor with jagged edges loose tiles. In the good old English spirit we unpacked and on the way out for food informed the reception of the broken tiles and smell . The receptionist said it would be sorted whilst we were having tea. On arriving back to the bedroom we found nothing had changed apart from they had left the balcony door open making the apartment freezing . As we closed the door the smell came back!! . I went down to reception to speak to a manager who told me the floor was safe and the apartment didn’t smell. He just couldn’t accept or see the problems . He said there had been a festival the week before and a lot of damage had occurred at the hotel basically indicating he thought there was nothing wrong . It was very badly dealt with and in my humble opinion our apartment wasn’t in a fit state to be let out . I have never had to buy air freshener or had to wear shoes to go to the toilet to save my feet being slashed and to be honest I have never come across such an unhelpful manager. After 15 minutes of heated conversation they did finally agree to wash the carpets which did help with the smell but he said he couldn’t do anything with the cracked floor and it was safe!! We won’t be booking with this company again and if I had the energy I would pursue asking for my money back .

Staff fantastic and very helpful and attentive Location great either way ski to and from . We changed apartment on morning as disappointing at first, hotel reception sorted and we were happy .. Booking again to return same week 2025 Tres Bon

Just stayed in Electra apartments for 1 week. Good points are.. Great location Good ski in/ski out Apartment is a good size for 2 people Good views from apartment balcony Staff friendly on reception Bad points.. The apartment is very unclean, dusty, cobwebs and fusty smelling. No replacement clean towels for the whole week. The beds are single beds and very uncomfortable. The apartment is very noisy, constant banging all day and night, not sure if this was from residents or maintenance, but we was woke up every morning from about 6.30/7am from banging noises.
