Acadia

Comfortable hotel. On pilgrimage I appreciated the availability of the catering staff.I also appreciated the quality of the meals. Just a downside the staff at the bar moderately friendly, unsmiling is a shame....

I stayed at the Hotel Acadia in Lourdes from 2 to 6 September, for a total of 4 nights, together with a large group of about 60 people. The experience was absolutely positive from every point of view. The rooms are extremely clean in every detail, with very comfortable mattresses and everything you need for personal hygiene always available. The view from the fifth floor is truly spectacular, and the large terrace adds a touch of relaxation and extra comfort. The staff is friendly, professional and always available to satisfy every need, even in the most challenging moments with a large group like ours. A great added value is the sympathy of the owners and the mastery of the Italian language by all the staff, who made us feel welcomed right away. The breakfast is rich and varied, with a wide choice of sweet and savory, perfect to start the day well. Wi-Fi present and working also in the rooms, another plus point. I highly recommend the Hotel Acadia not only for the quality of Service, but also for its strategic location, a stone's throw from the Sanctuary of Lourdes. Special thanks to all the staff... The rooms are very clean but very small. Don't eat there because you'll come home very hungry. For medical reasons I don't eat much meat so I asked for vegetarian. What did I get to eat: eggs with a little rice or potatoes that were still raw. Once I got fish without any taste and the last night I got a small pile of rice with half an egg and a small plate of cucumber. I had a room only so I also paid a surcharge for my trip. In the morning you get 1 croissant and a piece of baguette, you can't ask because there's nothing else.
