Best Western Hotel Christina

A very basic hotel in the heart of Lourdes. Just a short walk to the Sanctuary and set by the river. Not enough electrical sockets in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Food was varied. Staff could speak minimal English.

Quiet and spacious room with magnificent views of the Gave and the mountains. Cleanliness and comfortable bedding. Welcoming and attentive staff. Hearty and tasty meal. Recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing stay in Lourdes. We will be happy to come back to that.

Location was great. Room overlooked the river. Bed was comfortable and the check in was efficient. Parking was handy on the road outside which was handy as the parking advertised on site was already full. Room was a tad dated. Shower screen was half missing so water made the floor slippery. Would have liked (and paid for) breakfast but they ONLY lay breakfast for those that have pre booked the day before. And they don’t seem to be able to accommodate guests who just turn up wanting breakfast who were not asked at check in if they wanted breakfast. Ended up walking about until we found a little cafe open and ate there.
