Nice hotel but complicated if you are with elderly people

What a great location! 5 minutes - walk - from the Halle so the covered market and the city center. 5 minutes - always on foot - from Rue de la Grotte to reach the Sanctuary, while passing through the cemetery - where there is the whole Soubirous family ( yes the parents of who you know! ) where we don't meet any pilgrims... How welcome we are! By two brothers who have run the establishment since ?? in a simple and warm way. And the next generation (of the same barrel) seems to be well prepared. What do you eat there? In the morning, great breakfast and in the evening dinner with a (yes 1) menu for 18 euros unpretentious but largely satisfying. Otherwise there are gargotes or other tourist catchers / pilgrims not far!! Nice room with mini fridge and enough to make a coffee. Good bed. On the ground floor of this old-fashioned hotel: reading room, lounge and bar with consumption at (very) moderate prices. Parking space ( to be requested ) in adjoining old garage. Very good address for short or medium stay.

We stayed at this hotel, prestige room, it is a large well organized room. It was functional old look but with modern amenities (Italian shower, double bed) beautiful bathroom with shower and bathtub. Elevator, secure garage, hotel bar with interesting price. Our only regret is the evening meal, we did not have the choice meal at 7pm as the majority of customers are present for the evening processions. soup(very good) a dish and we would have liked a dessert a little more sought after than a basket of fruit, this is our only regret. Because the staff are friendly, both in room and at reception, everyone is listening. This hotel is very well placed in the city, neither too close to the sanctuary nor too far away for those who come for this reason, if not well placed for tours of the area.
