Le Bois Joli

A charming hotel. Rooms with warm decor, wood and cozy plaid, very good bedding (finally good pillows!). Warm welcome, very good breakfast served at the table (rare). I highly recommend it.

We LOVE it 👌, cozy hotel full of charm, great location, service and cleanliness are top-notch! Thank you

This was our second time staying at Hotel Le Bois Joli. We call it "the heart of Cauterets" for it's location and also for the way it attracts not only guests but other tourists in town and locals too. The service is above friendly. Amber and Matthias do an exceptional job of making everyone feel welcome. We enjoyed the casualness of it, just sitting on the terrasse or in the restaurant was a treat. Breakfast was great. And as a hotel, it was so comfortable. Our room was large and very pleasingly decorated. The bathroom had both a shower and a tub. Nice views too from the room.. There's an elevator, also storage room for winter and summer - skiing, hiking, biking equipment. We can't recommend Le Bois Joli enough for anyone going to Cauterets. Also, be sure to visit Pont d'Espana and hike up to Lake Gaube (you can take a chair lift up part of the mountain to shorten the hike.) Wonderful. We prefered it over the beautiful Gavarnie.
