Location, independence, parking are the strong points of this structure. This is a successful restaurant which has rooms upstairs. The car park is large, but during the restaurant's operating hours you can risk finding it busy. The reception is in the restaurant but is only used for check-in. Once done, they give you the key to access the bedroom floor 24 hours a day via another entrance and therefore independence becomes total. If you need the reception during the restaurant's operating hours, there are problems: in fact, the staff is all behind the customers who are eating and you risk not being considered too much for hotel matters in those moments. I didn't like the 'closed' attitude of the owners: they have their own ways of acting and they apply those without demonstrating a minimum effort to understand and satisfy any customer needs that differ from their 'protocols'. So if you fully adapt to them you are greeted and treated with grace, if you show that you have different requests and needs you are frowned upon and treated accordingly. The rooms are tidy and clean but very simple and outdated. Despite this, the environment is decent and acceptable but with many flaws because I repeat the structure inside the rooms is really dated. If we were in other less popular locations I would say that it is expensive for what it offers, but for Mont Saint Michel considering the location the price is consistent.

The price is good for being 4 km from the island. Breakfast costs 12 euros each which we didn't have. Cleaning is only at the end of the holiday but generally more than two nights are not done here. A few steps away there is the cycle path and forgivable to go to the island. Small bathrooms, no shutters so light comes on immediately in the morning.

We had the misfortune of stopping to ask if there was a table available and internet to be able to make a call abroad, we were yelled at by the “boss” like animals. He seems to forget that his restaurant makes its living from tourism, and perhaps we should treat people with a little more respect than that displayed today. Perhaps we should remind him that during the Covid confinement he would have liked to have customers and he took advantage of state aid, old habits come back very quickly apparently! This is completely unacceptable behavior, and we obviously do not recommend this place!
