Very disappointing stay. The hotel is extremely basic and the rooms have an unpleasant smell, somewhat like a farm. The pillows were ridiculously small – about the size of an A4 sheet of paper (and that’s genuinely not an exaggeration) – with only one provided per person, making for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep.
There is no proper bar area. If you want a drink, you have to buy it from reception and then sit in the reception area facing a vending machine, which completely lacks any atmosphere.
To make matters worse, we were allocated a disabled-access room, which was not suitable for our needs and was a huge disappointment. Overall, this was a really poor start to our break in Honfleur.
I would not stay here again and would strongly recommend looking elsewhere in Honfleur. Very disappointing experience.
