Oz'Inn Hotel

Very bad experience at the Oz’Inn, and above all a huge disappointment coming from an establishment located in the heart of the Cap d’Agde naturist village, which one would imagine to be precisely open, free, and inclusive. There were three of us: a couple and a friend, a single woman, and we came for an evening on the rooftop. Our friend was refused entry because she was wearing small, glittery, but flat shoes. The reason? She is recovering from a fracture and her foot, still swollen, simply does not allow her to wear heels. We explained the situation, but there was no understanding, no flexibility. We were even told that, since her foot hurt, the rooftop was "not recommended" for her anyway because it was very crowded. A remark that we found particularly inappropriate: it is not up to an establishment to decide for a person what they are physically capable of doing. Despite everything, we tried to find her other shoes, without success because of her swollen foot. She therefore had to give up on the evening. When we returned as a pair, we also had to wait in the entire line again. Despite our explanations to the security guard, there was no possibility of regaining our place. Result: more than an hour of additional waiting. And it was precisely during this second wait that the situation became frankly incomprehensible: we saw a woman on crutches being allowed to enter. The argument that the rooftop was "not recommended" for our friend because of her foot therefore seems, to say the least, inconsistent. Another observation that is hard to ignore: while a woman is refused entry because her flat shoes are not considered elegant enough, even for a medical reason, men enter in completely ordinary sneakers and t-shirts. The problem is not the existence of a dress code. An establishment is free to have one. The problem is imposing dress constraints on women that are far greater than those imposed on men, without the slightest flexibility in the face of a medical situation. In 2026, in a place that claims freedom, open-mindedness, and an absence of judgment, I find it quite incredible to encounter such sexist and uninclusive codes. One can be selective and elegant without requiring women to be perched on heels. Elegance is not measured by the height of a heel. We had come to spend a lovely evening as a trio. We left with a friend excluded and a deep sense of injustice. Very disappointing.

The hotel has made significant progress. Very friendly staff. Clean and tasteful rooms with good room service. Breakfast has everything you need. Room service around the clock with delicious dishes at normal prices. You know beforehand that it is a swinger-friendly hotel with corresponding guests and atmosphere. It is a pity that as a hotel guest you have to follow a dress code for the parties. You take it off again right away anyway. But overall everything good and gladly again.

Cape Town without the Ozinn is not Cape Town!! An exceptional hotel with staff who are attentive to our needs: Sophie, Amandine, Clément, Alinéa, Weddine, and the entire team. Excellent bedding, superb rooftop evenings with great DJs, and light shows that make the nights shine. Just one major downside: expensive breakfasts that do not meet expectations... tasteless organic bread, flavorless organic butter, croissants that are not worthy of a good baker, but I can't wait to return, thank you.
