Hotel de Paris

I booked a family suite because there are 3 of us. The positive: hotel well-located in the city center and parking for €20. The negative: On Booking, the photos showed the sofa, the bathroom, but not the main bed: I understood why: the large bed is pushed against the wall and it is listed as a double bed but not large because it is 151 cm, on top of that we slept very poorly and we both have had back pain ever since. I am allergic to dust: I wheezed all night (so in the middle of an allergy attack) I looked under the bed: very dusty (see photo). The suite is sold as 40 square meters: we don't know where they are: since the bed is pushed against the wall, the sofa opened into a bed: we constantly have to turn sideways to go from one small space to another small space... The staircase is quite steep. I do not recommend this "family suite". Very poor value for money.

Very disappointing. Renovated room that did not prevent a strong sewage smell, reported and unresolved after two days. Uncomfortable, no chair or armchair for clothes, nothing to place the suitcase, impossible to hang a dress since the wardrobe was occupied by a refrigerator. No soap dish in the bathroom or shelf for toiletries. Breakfast quality was fast food, including stale croissants, which is inexcusable and unjustifiable. Regarding the seminar room, no paper or pencil; the microphones did not work, nor did the coffee machine. The "gourmet break" consisted of a few tiny, sticky pastries. At the aperitif, it was out of the question to have a second glass (of wine!), the quota was exhausted. As for dinner, it was not possible to add two covers for unplanned spouses, and they were quite lucky to dine elsewhere since the meal was... particularly uninteresting, tasteless, even bad. Catastrophic value for money.

Ideally located, shaded parking for the vehicle. Well-equipped and comfortable room. Friendly and welcoming staff (special mention to Lyna, very professional and available, who makes great cocktails). We will definitely return! For a relaxing vacation as a couple, it is perfect.
