We recently spent 2 nights in Sete at the end of a trip bicycling from Lyon to Sete. It was our first time in Sete and we're glad to have had time to explore this very picturesque and interesting city. The hotel is in a great location on the canal and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. Having said that, I have to say that the room as a bit of a disappointment -- pretty small, minimal furnishings (one desk chair to sit in), somewhat outdated, and some old unappealing furnishings. Happily, the bathroom was modern and well-functioning, as was the air conditioning and wifi, and the view from our window was lovely. We slept well with the a/c and no noise. Breakfast is served in an indoor area or on the courtyard; the buffet is quite complete and a server was there to keep tables clean and dishes refilled. The front desk was very helpful to us - directing us to an ATM, a bike shop, and giving us advice about Uber. Based on what we saw, L'Orque Bleu might be the best place to stay in Sete, which only means the alternatives are less appealing. So if we return to Sete, we might stay there again, but wish the hotel would refurbish the rooms.

The hotel is very well located along the canal but in a quiet area. Decent room with a large shower. The hotel parking was not available, but we were able to park at the Canal parking lot just 5 minutes from the hotel, which offers a package of 37 euros for 3 days. The breakfast room is pleasant with a patio if the weather permits. Just a small note about breakfast: there was a lack of cold cuts... All the staff are welcoming, friendly, and it is a hotel where one feels good. I recommend it!

Charming hotel, very well located. You will do everything on foot. Superb entrance. Room overlooking the roof, clean and bright. One pillow per person, a bit too firm for me… Very good welcome.
