A very well-located hotel, a warm and very professional welcome. A beautiful room, a lovely heated pool… a beautiful experience.

A small hotel located near the cathedral (but Albi is not a big city), the Hotel Lapérouse does not live up to its four stars. The rare absence at this level of slippers and bathrobes, as well as the lack of glasses for the complimentary water (it seems the custom is to use the bathroom tooth glasses), the electronic key that malfunctions every other time, and even more so the room not being made up between two nights, make one forget the relative quiet, the decent bathroom facilities and breakfast, and the comfortable bedding. A disappointment

We had a suite with a terrace on the 1st floor (-1). Spacious, well-decorated, well-insulated. The hotel is new, so everything is well-appointed and not damaged. The staff is young, very friendly, and helpful. Located a 2-minute walk from the old town and the main attractions. The pool is very refreshing, especially during hot weather and after hours of sightseeing. We had opted for the parking. Appreciable because it is nearby, but we had a mishap: the parking ticket was unreadable even though we picked it up when leaving the hotel, which forced us to call Interparking assistance first, twice, only to finally be sent back to the hotel to get a new ticket. I am not giving 5 stars for this reason, but also because we had an issue with the air conditioning adjustment, which prevented us from sleeping well. We were hot. And mosquitoes in large numbers. Perhaps plan for mosquito control around the pool and gardens.
