L'Oustau Camarguen

Simple restaurant, pleasant because it's not very crowded. There is space (not too high up), it's clean. Things to improve: having a view of the pool and swimmers without being allowed to enter is frustrating when you're sweating. It is very hot in the restaurant since everything is open. The dining room needs to be prepared early, the doors closed, and the AC turned on first thing in the morning. The only menu is the daily special; everything else is à la carte. The value for money isn't there because the dishes are good but without fish sauce, only 1 tiny piece of foie gras that was tasteless, and with local brands on top of that; at this price, there shouldn't be any flaws. 50 euros for an appetizer/main course without dessert for one person, meh. We will retest.

Kudos to the whole team and the idea of the fire pit was an excellent idea. It was delicious. Kudos to Manon for her professionalism and kindness. And kudos to Martin for the cooking of the meat and fish. See you very soon and best of luck. Pascal

It is a very flowery and green place, with nice decoration. The staff is smiling and friendly. Joanna can give you wonderful massages. Nice pool. The rooms have a small terrace. In my opinion and given my Camargue experience, some equipment is missing: grab bar in the bathtub (perilous exit), mosquito repellent plug, small clothes drying rack. Humidity problem with leaks in the ceiling of my bathroom. Very limited dining if you stay several days, identical side dishes from Tuesday to Saturday, same daily special for 4 meals... Luckily, it's good!
