Hotel Imperial

The reception is great, super friendly. Clean, a great rooftop, and the bartender was super nice, even the waitress. Nice hotel and close to everything. Very happy to have spent a little weekend there.

Disappointed with this hotel that is not worth a room at €141.00! No minibar, no mineral water, no balcony, shower not watertight, and brown grout! Room booked with parking but no spots available…we were directed to a parking lot and the little morning gift was a €25.00 fine! Avoid at all costs!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hôtel Impérial and would happily return. The location is excellent, just a short walk from La Corniche, with its cafés, restaurants, small shops and beautiful seafront promenade. It’s a lovely area to spend the evening, and the beach is also within easy walking distance. Getting around without a car was very easy. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, with regular buses into Sète town centre as well as along La Corniche in the opposite direction. We used it to reach KayakMed for a paddleboarding session on the Étang de Thau, followed by a pleasant 10-minute walk from the bus stop to their base. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone we met was genuinely welcoming, always smiling and happy to help with any questions. Our room was spotless, modern and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including tea and coffee making facilities, and housekeeping maintained it to a very high standard throughout. One feature we particularly enjoyed was breakfast on the rooftop terrace. It’s a peaceful setting away from the traffic below, with lovely views towards the sea. It was a relaxing way to start each morning, and the breakfast offered a good selection of both sweet and savoury options. Overall, the Hôtel Impérial offers an excellent combination of comfortable accommodation, friendly service and a great location for exploring both Sète and the Corniche. We’d have no hesitation recommending it and would happily stay again.
