Domaine De Cice Blossac

My mom’s surprise birthday: I had called 3 days before to confirm the surprise of the spa and book the Saturday night restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the person at the reception had my mother reconfirm all the schedules... surprise successful! The setting is very beautiful and the golf experience was really nice, these are clearly the positives of the stay. On the other hand, we get a spacious room, but that is unfortunately the only positive. A horrible heat, with a fan stirring hot air, a room that lacks cleanliness with cobwebs as soon as you open the windows, and a greasy sink. They're offering to change rooms... to a room in the same condition. The worst is the evening restaurant: a disaster. More than one hour waiting time to receive tickets. Tasteless dishes, which absolutely do not match Instagram photos. Then comes the dish... it was very cold, bland, with food that seemed to be cooked in water. Even the strawberries on the plate were not ripe. The second plate really felt like it had been raised in a hurry, with everything in the middle, without any presentation. For a tasting menu at 50 € excluding drinks, we still expect a certain standing. Adding up to €140 in total is clearly not worth half of what we experienced. Fortunately, the restaurant service saved the day a bit. The manager was very pleasant, attentive and understanding, and offered us glasses of wine. Thank you to her for her professionalism. And the pompom this morning, when we shared our experience with the accommodation manager at the front desk: someone who took us from above, asked us if “that’s all” and simply said that we just had to put a review. Don't worry, here he is! It would really be necessary to review the general standing of the establishment, because for a 4 star, we are very far from the expected level. Even the common areas deserve much better maintenance. As for the spa, €32 an hour for a swimming pool and steam room... honestly, again, we expect more for a 4-star establishment. Too bad because the setting is beautiful, golf is a really pleasant experience and the property clearly has potential. But the maintenance, services, catering and especially the attitude of the welcome are not up to the standard displayed. For us, unfortunately: to flee

Beautiful quiet site surrounded by nature. Just a small downside, the rooms are not air conditioned, we went there during a heatwave, a ceiling fan and one on the floor struggled to cool the room! The breakfast buffet is good.

Excellent stay. The accommodation was impeccable, spacious. Large, quiet terrace. Very friendly welcome. We will return
