Hotel de la Plage

We stayed for one night en route to the ferry. We booked because at some point it was implied there was parking. There wasn't just on street paid parking. Also in spite of alerting the hotel of my husband's mobility problems we were located on the top floor, which meant getting luggage from the car on the street and lugging it up to the room. No-one made any attempt to help us. Luckily there was an efficient lift. The room was small and basic. The ensuite had horrible decor and mould around the bath. Breakfast was fine and staff pleasant - I suggest they are put in charge of the management.

We stayed for one night in August 2018. The location is good and we managed to find some available street parking close by. We stayed in a family room which was a good size for 3 of us. The room and bathroom was a little tired and we found it noisy during the night with people coming and going and being so close to the road. The terrace where we had breakfast had wonderful views. Overall it felt a little expensive for what it was

Spent 3 nights in room 7, which is on the second floor and has a large sea-view veranda outside. The room was adequate, in need of a little tlc as a bit of wear and tear with a Heath Robinson approach to …well, most things. Great view, even on the one rainy cold windy day. The staff are wonderful, from our experience – friendly without being gushy, helpful and informed. Room has a very comfy bed and nice quality linen, shower/hair wash, soap, bath with shower attachment, (keep foot on plug if having a bath – not the end of the world), hairdryer, magnifying mirror on XXX extender, wardrobe, chest of drawers (a bit rickety but in working order). Radiator. Dual aspect, great veranda with seats and table…and brilliant view! We slept like logs with no discernible noise nuisance. Didn't have breakfast but i went to get a pot of coffee one morning and this was provided readily, for a very small charge. Great location, we would stay again.
