Don’t be fooled by the modern decor — unfortunately, the actual experience was very disappointing. Our room was unbearably hot, with the fan doing very little to make it comfortable. The soundproofing was awful and you could hear practically everything from the neighbouring room. The double bed was also far too small for a couple and really only suitable for one person. The property feels much more like a B&B, with the owners apparently living on the premises. Breakfast was poor value, with guests restricted to choosing either one croissant or one pain au chocolat. The manager was rude and dismissive when we raised our concerns, refused a refund and failed to resolve the problems with the room. I’m genuinely surprised by how highly rated this place is, as the rating gives a very misleading impression of the actual experience. Overall, the modern decor creates a much better impression than the stay itself.

Very good experience: the welcome was very warm, we really liked the decor and the comfort of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. There is nothing to complain about.

We stayed in the Utopia suite which is stunning . On arrival our host kindly booked a restaurant for the evening and gave us some advice how to spend the next couple of days . Breakfast was catered by Mark who appears to work on rollerskates enthusiastically greeting guests whilst seamlessly providing pastries restocking the sundries cheese , meats , eggs and bread .
