Positive point, excellent evening meal, Negative point, the owner of the place needs to change professions, very haughty, no hello, walks past you without courtesy, in short, hospitality is a profession, it is not playing house for a spoiled little girl, and regarding the castle, improvements must be continued quickly, because we are far from a 4-star rating.

Charming and rustique chateau close to Tours. I loved the beautiful restored chateau, but also the imperfections like old wobbly door knobs, hens in the yard, wild flowers etc. it made me feel relaxed and disconnected from the busy world! Slow living. The staff worked all roles like it should be in a small business. Felt very welcome. Amazing food! Spacious room, huge shower, very good aircondition. Will come again to relax and unwind❤️

I'd give it more like 4.5 dots if I had the option. It's a very cool "newer" chateau from the mid-1800's. The property is large and you can walk all around it. Very pleasant for an evening stroll. Dinner was tasty, a little expensive but with good ambience in the formal dining room. Breakfast buffet also quite good. Our room was on the top floor and was nice and spacious, with A/C provided. The bathroom was pretty recently renovated, though the shower floor wasn't sloped enough and it was easy to kick a lot of water out onto the bathroom floor. It should be remedied or they're going to have water damage soon enough. Generally it's plenty clean, but could use some better cleaning in the corners and whatnot given the level of hotel they market themselves as.
