We really liked this hotel. It is situated on a quiet square with free parking and just 10 minutes from the motorway. It is a fifteen minute walk to the old centre. The hotel is an old building that looks a bit shabby from the outside but has a nice and authentic feel on the inside. Lady at the receptio really friendly and helpful, room big and bathroom even bigger. Clean and quiet. No elevator. Breakfast a bit meager.

On arrival I wondered what I had booked as the outside was very tired looking. Went inside and the receptionist was very nice. Went up to the room and it was modern clean and very nice. Location was close to the centre of Tours which was great and there was free parking outside. We stayed on saturday night and there was a market on Sunday Morning. Breakfast was very good.

A delightful, atmospheric, typically French boutique hotel located on the corner of a leafy square with lots of shady parking space. A busy major road runs through the centre of the square, but all was peaceful at night. Several of the most interesting of the Loire chateaux are within easy striking distance by car, and the original, 'old town' part of the city is a 15 minute stroll away. Our room and en suite were clean and well-equipped, the bed comfortable and the management and staff pleasant and helpful Breakfast was Continental-style and with an unusually wide selection of pastries, as well as different breads and fruit - all frequently replenished as necessary. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a base for anyone planning a chateau sight-seeing trip in the Loire valley and who would prefer not to stay in an impersonal concrete shoe-box.
