Christina

After a booking error on my part at another hotel, we found the Hotel Christina by chance at 11:50 PM while searching on Booking. Reservation made and a call shortly after, we arrived late. Professional and pleasant welcome despite the late hour, a clean and pleasant room, with the essentials. We were very hot, but it was during a heatwave and without air conditioning the night was difficult. Since the room faced the parking lot, there was no outside noise. Soundproofing, however, could use improvement; you can hear the neighbors in the next room well. The breakfast is well-stocked and the person at the front desk is friendly. Very positive experience.

I am not going to hesitate to leave a review because from beginning to end this hotel is traumatic. I arrived at the hotel, the door was closed, I then called, he opened it for me while looking at me badly, he tried to make me pay €90 instead of €50 a night, he saw that I was going to leave when I heard the price, he then said 50 divided by two is 25 so I'll add €25, I asked him what kind of calculation that was, basically the room is €50, he looked at me badly saying do you want to save money? However you are French, I answered him that no I was Italian, he said ah I would like to go live in Italy. Anyway it is clearly a social experiment, I was looking for the hidden camera. I preferred not to even sleep in the hotel following the disgusting room, there is not a small clean spot, either stains or hair, the towels have stains and are wrinkled, how to tell you that it is not washed. No AC, only cold water, so really avoid in winter. At the end I return the keys, I ask him if it is good, he answers yes, almost, did it go well? The breakfast, I preferred not to go there, at any moment he asks me to pay again, no really, sleep outside, it is better and cleaner and safer.

Cancellation insurance cancels with the cancellation of the room I had to hold a room quickly on Châteauroux, it is said non-refundable, I take a cancellation insurance in case... In the next few minutes, my colleagues inform me that they have just booked me a room at another hotel. Within 10 minutes I cancel the room. I contact Booking to find out how to make the insurance work and then I learn that the cancellation insurance was cancelled at the same time as the room, so it does not work... The room rate was charged in full ... The hotelier didn't want to know anything, no way to resume the room on another date either. This hotel and Booking.com to flee Both of them kept passing the ball on to each other, giving responsibility to the other...
