MERCURE GRENOBLE PRESIDENT

They took me 150th bail. I find that unacceptable. First time that happened to me. Breakfast correct but could be better compared to the price... . Otherwise, I'm fine.

The Hotel is in a nice location, just a few tram stations from the Centre Ville. Rooms are tiny but clean, with few amenities. The restaurant is ok, with a good continental breakfast and a wide variety of hot meals and other sorts of embouchees. The room on the side of the boulevard might be a bit noisy during the nights. We love mercury hotels for their standard that suits us for one night. However I have never had such a mediocre stay. Apart from the hostess of optimum efficiency, if all the staff moved like her, the service would be at the top. The evening meal, undercooked or even raw (meat for a 5 year old), an endless service (no more than 20 people present at the restaurant). In the morning breakfast has 19€ poorly stocked. Except for scrambled eggs and pancakes no juice or cold meats... it's expensive coffee. After half an hour waiting, still not a breakfast worthy of the name. Clean but noisy rooms. Street noise, condensation on windows, noise from other rooms and floors. In short, the worst mercury I’ve ever stayed in is more of an ibis level!
