Hilton Lyon

I stayed here for 1 night after a river cruise. The location was very convenient as it was close to where my ship docked. The hotel is modern, rooms are big and I found it to be very clean. Air conditioning is important to me and it worked very well!!! At check-in the staff was super friendly. They honored all of my elite benefits and thanked me. I had dinner at Zucca, the main restaurant on property and it was exceptional. Service was nice, food was good and portions were large. The only dissapointmebt was this hotel does not have an M lounge. Elites dont get any snacks or drinks. As a business traveller I really appreciate the lounges. Also the room did not have any washclothes in the bathroom also no robe. For being an executive category room, I expected these things.

This is a beautiful hotel. It's some distance from the center of the city, but it overlooks a wonderful park, and the Rhone is across the street. There's a tram footsteps away. The staff is kind and helpful The rooms are scrupulously clean and most have nice views.

My fiancé and I just visited Lyon for 4 days and stayed at the Lyon Marriott Hotel Cité Internationale. We had a wonderful time in Lyon and plan to visit again. One of the things that made our time there so special was the hospitality and service provided by the Concierge, Abdallah, along with the rest of the staff at the hotel. For our second day in Lyon, Abdallah recommended and made reservations for lunch in Beaujolais at La Table du Donjon and a tasting of Côte-Rôtie wines at La Maison Guigal. He also found us a private driver, Richard, for the afternoon. We had a great time! During the first night of our stay, the air conditioning was not strong in our third floor suite. My fiancé alerted Abdallah who immediately provided us with an oscillating fan. When we arrived back from our private day trip, Abdallah informed us he had switched our suites to one with better air conditioning. The new suite was situated on the third floor and included a terrace overlooking the Rhône River. Abdallah really took care of us! We greatly appreciate the professionalism, friendliness, and care Abdallah and the rest of the Marriott staff took to ensure we had lovely accommodations during our stay in Lyon. Merci beaucoup!
