A sure bet in Lyon! Another excellent stay with friends at this hotel, ideally located on the banks of the Saône. The staff is very kind and attentive from start to finish. The rooms are impeccably clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom is pleasant and the separate toilet is a real plus. The underground parking (€11 per night) is very appreciated and greatly facilitates the stay. The hotel restaurant is an excellent surprise: quality cuisine, efficient service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The only small point to improve concerns the breakfast room, which is a bit cramped. This is, however, largely compensated for by an exceptional buffet, very varied and generous, where everyone finds something they like. The spa is a true haven of peace! The space is magnificent and offers an ideal setting to relax and recharge. The opening hours are also very appreciated and allow one to fully enjoy it. Only a few points would deserve to be improved. Some facilities, particularly outside, were unfortunately out of order during our visit. Furthermore, it would be desirable to remind guests of some rules of etiquette: some couples monopolize the working hydromassage areas for very long periods, preventing other guests from enjoying them. Better rotation or a reminder of good practices would allow everyone to have an even more pleasant experience. Despite these few reservations, the spa remains a very beautiful place where one enjoys returning. The hotel will be completely renovated during 2027 with its integration into the Hilton group. A tip: take advantage of it now, because the price-quality ratio is excellent today and rates are very likely to increase after the renovations! We will return with great pleasure.

A beautiful experience. We really enjoyed relaxing in this hotel and taking advantage of the magnificent spa facilities. The staff is attentive and very friendly. We also enjoyed the delicious and hearty breakfast. A very small downside regarding the cleanliness of the spa at the morning opening: upon our arrival, we found hair ties and other items left behind by guests in the Grotto area, a shame...

Very disappointed by my experience at the Metropole Lyon Plage. The place is beautiful, but the service is far from being up to par. The wait times are extremely long, even for simple orders. The staff can be much too familiar, and I unfortunately was subjected to a totally inappropriate remark regarding my pregnancy and my personal choices, which is unacceptable. Major lack of organization as well: the front desk puts on the pressure, and despite a scheduled departure at noon, the housekeepers come knocking as early as 9 a.m.... this is not normal. Not to mention the maintenance of the rooms, which was not done correctly, or even not done at all on some days. Given the prices and the reputation of the place, one clearly expects impeccable service, which is far from being the case here. Very disappointed, I do not recommend it.
