I can confirm this place is as bad as it looks from some of the photos. I was there earlier this week where the heat in Lyon was > 35 degrees. The air conditioning was not working throughout the building, I now know what it feels like to be inside an air fryer. I travel with work a lot and this stands out as the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Missing carpet, half the ceiling tiles missing in the hallway. It looked like the set of a zombie apocalypse movie. Finally the hallway had a very strong smell of Chinese takeaway. Avoid, avoid, avoid

Hotel to be avoided! Sincerely. The little time spent at the Appart City Part-Dieu is enough for me to advise against its services! Three nights spent under 30°C due to lack of air conditioning and being awakened by the trains passing constantly in front of my room (severe lack of sound insulation). Moreover, the condition of the room leaves much to be desired (warped flooring, mold in the bathroom, tiles coming loose in places, very limited amenities). Good luck to the next guests.
