Royal Thalasso Barriere

Magnificent hotel perfectly located. You find all the attributes expected of a 5-star hotel of this level: magnificent building, impeccable service, fabulous breakfast, etc. The experience could have been exceptional and up to our (high) expectations, and especially the price paid (exorbitant...), if 1/ the room had not been so small, 2/ the outdoor pool had not been warmer than a bath (technical problem not resolved during the stay), and finally 3/ the bar, theoretically a place of pleasure and relaxation, had not been a real sauna. In short, an overall disappointing experience that could have been a little less so if a commercial gesture had been offered to compensate for the fact that the outdoor pool was unusable.

What a treat. Gorgeous building, property and grounds. Very helpful and friendly staff from the bellmen to the concierge to the bartenders. Highly recommend this wonderful property. The food is fantastic too!

Regulars at this hotel for 10 years, there has been a decline in attentions (welcome treats in the room, personalized TV display, evening service without a wafer on the bed, individual bathroom products) lobby without decoration (flowers). Nevertheless, the Royal is a very refined luxury hotel, with very pleasant staff, and an efficient and friendly concierge service. Regarding the room, the bedding is perfect. Extraordinary spa and very nice gym. Very nice renovation of the restaurant room. Top-notch breakfast service.
